Welcome to My Horse Buddy.com!
My name is Pascha, and I've been fascinated with horses ever since I can remember. My journey with these magnificent creatures began at the tender age of two when I met my first horse, a beautiful black mare whom I interestingly named "Oatmeal." From that moment on, my love for horses only grew stronger. Whether I was pretending to be a horse myself, playing with horse toys, or watching horse movies, they always held a special place in my heart.
Zelza and Snickers
Zelza and SnickersAs I grew older, my passion for horses led me to take riding lessons on various horses. At the age of twelve, my mom bought me a gray flea-bitten Arabian named Zelza, with whom I shared countless adventures, rain or shine. My bond with horses deepened even further when I met my first heart horse, Snickers, a stunning Appaloosa. Despite facing the challenge of cancer and losing an eye, Snickers remained perfect in my eyes, a steadfast companion I could trust with my life.
However, life took an unexpected turn when Snickers' cancer spread, and I had to say goodbye to my beloved friend. I was devastated, but amidst my grief, I stumbled upon a beacon of hope – a cute little foal in a nearby pasture. Despite being a new mom in my twenties with no experience in raising a baby horse, I couldn't resist bringing her home. Together, we embarked on a journey of learning, bonding, and overcoming challenges.

Sugar Foot starting training againIt was during this time that I realized I no longer had the calm, confident horse I once knew. Determined to find a solution, I delved into the world of Natural Horsemanship, seeking to understand and connect with horses on a deeper level. Through trial and error, and with the support of knowledgeable mentors, I discovered the keys to building an amazing relationship and bond with my horse.

Barn Manager
Alongside my personal journey, I answered a Craigslist ad for barn help, which led me to a rewarding role as a barn manager. Working with rescue horses and boarding clients, I witnessed firsthand the transformative power of horses and the bonds they forge between people.
Through My Horse Buddy.com, I aim to create a space for fellow horse lovers to share their experiences, seek guidance, and inspire one another on their own journeys with their equine companions.
